Our research focuses on three long-term goals: Inner ear cell regeneration, structure-function approaches to characterize TRP channels that may play important roles in sensory hair cell function, and functional characterization of hair cell stereocilia protein complexes.

A requirement is a PhD and a strong background in cell, developmental or molecular biology, biochemistry, or microscopic imaging. A background or strong interest in neurobiology would also be advantageous.
